Being born left handed can be thought of two ways; either a disguised blessing or a curse. A left handed individual should not attempt to play golf right handed simply because it’s difficult to find left handed clubs. It would be best to wait until you can find the right equipment rather than compromising the way you play. An individual that is naturally left handed will never achieve perfection in their golf game by playing right handed.

The basic technique for playing golf is relatively the same whether you are left or right handed. Your grip should be neither too loose nor too tight. You stance should be square, and your feet parallel to the target line. Square the shoulders as well as the hips and the thighs parallel to the feet and the target line. If you want to slice the ball, the swing path should be from the inside to the outside. To hook the ball then the swing path should be from the outside to the inside. And don’t forget to make sure you have access to a decent set of left handed golf clubs.
