Far From Over – California’s Budget Crisis
Palin and the boys paint a picture of an American populace in the thrall of spend crazy Democrats who take honest folks money and spend it on health care and social programs to help the less fortunate. These millionaires in their Beck/Palin/Hannity buses harangue the President and the Democrats on losing touch with normal Americans to be at the beck and call of Wall Street and the elitist media talking heads who push them along with Global Warming legislation and other tax and spend programs to help those in need or the less fortunate.
The three-fifths compromise stated that slaves on counted as three-fifths of a person for census purposes and it is true that the founding fathers not only supported it but are the ones that came up with it. It is important to realize why in the world they would support this before you automatically label them as racist. You see, the slave owners actually wanted the slaves to count as a full person but of course wanted them to have no freedoms.
This sort of rugged individual do your own thing populist mania has been corralled by Sarah and the boys on the right. The white God fearing rural population of America responds to this shiny ideal that the very reason people dont have jobs is the Democrats and their queer friends who populate the New York Times and push social agendas designed to help minorities and the poor and throw in there globalism and who gave all that money to those bankers anyway (Paulson–Big Guy looks like Frankenstein Republican) and it must be those Democrats who are not helping us in any way get a job so look at that sexy woman who is a Republican by the way (see Sean Hannity interview) and lets take back the White House before they give away all our money to you know, the less fortunate.
The Northern states realized that abolishing slavery was a monumental task and the three-fifths compromise was the first step toward getting rid of slavery for good.
The party of Big Business, of Wall Street, of Millionaires, of breaks for the wealthy, will tell you once again that it is those tax and spend Democrats taking your money and giving it to the less fortunate that are the problem. They will tell you this over and over as Wall Street doles our record bonuses and the great unregulated financial industry (via Reagan) sops up the money that is theirs for the taking, screaming and hollering that the Democrats just want to tax you and take your hard earned money and give healthcare to the less fortunate and you have to pay for it.
So, in essence, by supporting legislation that includes coverage for abortions, women’s advocacy groups like NOW and other feminists would in turn be supporting the sexual objectification of women. So, when it comes to the president and our Congress, some may say they are out of touch with their constituents. However, I don’t believe this to be the case in all instances. While this may be dead on in relating to some, others seem simply not to care what their constituents think, or what the political consequences of their actions are, so long as they move forward with their own personal agendas as swiftly and effectively as possible until the American people put an end to it in the voting booth.
