When You Get To Play World Musical Instrument

You can call a musical instrument to all the things that produce sound. But some instruments that are specially constructed using a particular technique to produce a playful and soothing sound are famously named as musical instruments. Music is passion of people from early years and musical instrument is just an origin of human culture. The study of such musical instruments is called organology.

No one knows who made the first musical instrument but by seeing some of the instruments like sitar and drums you will get to know that it can be first made by a log which is hollowed from inside. Or it can be made using bamboo sticks.

Nowadays numerous musical instruments have been developed which produce different type of soothing sounds. Some well known are Conga, Tabla, Sitar, Bagpipes, Gongs, Lute and Celtic Harp. Using these musical instruments you can produce new tones and can also reproduce already existing tones. You can add your own style and words.

Now we will discuss some of the famous world musical instruments.

Conga is a tall and narrow drum with a single head. Three to four drums are attached to make a group and when these drums are played using fingers and palms in a particular manner, a musical sound is produced. Its length is 75cm from bottom to head. Person who is aware of the art of playing conga is called conguero. It can be played by sitting as well as standing.

Tabla is an Indian musical instrument used popularly for classical and devotional music. There is a pair of drums of different sizes and it is played using fingers and palms. Pressure is applied using the heels of hands on the larger drum to produce different sounds. Tabla originated from an Arabic word tabl which means drum.

Sitar is also an Indian plucked stringed instrument used n Indian classical music. It consists of a long neck and a resonating chamber. Sitar is hollow from inside. It is played using fingers and produces soothing sound.

Bagpipes are famous in Europe, Northern Africa, the Persian Gulf, and the Caucasus. The sound from a bagpiper is produced by blowing air in the bag. You will find different types of bagpipes Tulum, Irish uilleann pipes, small pipes, Gaida, etc.

Gong is famous in East and South East Asia. It consists of a flat metal disk and when you hit it with a mallet, a beautiful sound is produced. People use three types of gongs to produce music: suspended gongs, Bowl gongs and Bossed gongs.

New and new music has been invented and so new instruments. People who are in search of new music has been trying and constructing new instruments. When you choose an instrument to play, you learn about it and learn to play it. This makes a deep connection between musical instruments and human beings interested in music and it becomes a part of their life.
